
| HISTORY George Lastinger, Sr. started in the stone fabrication business over twenty-five years ago, in Northern Virginia with "A Touch of Italy". "A Touch of Italy" specialized in custom design work and high-end residential work. The company grew to be well known for their craftsmanship and quality. Their portfolio included the Saudi Arabian Embassy, The White House, the U.S. Naval Yard, The Kennedy Center Renovation, and the Watergate Renovation. George sold "A Touch of Italy" and a year later started "European Stone Concepts" with his son, George Jr., president of fabrication, and Keith Scott, president of marketing. European Stone Concepts mission is to offers superior quality, old world craftsmanship, and outstanding service. With a concentration on residential work, the companies portfolio includes many local and national home builders as well as many commercial restaurants, hotels, and offices. |
| FACILITY The 15,000 square foot facility houses the latest in fabrication technology which allows us to manufacture up to five kitchens per shift while carrying a shop personnel of five highly trained individuals. The fabrication process uses water to minimize stone dust and insure the safety of our employees. In a typical day, we will use up to 80,000 gallons of water. A water reclamation system on our facility allows us to reuse and recycle all of our water. At our facility we stock a wide variety of materials. At any time we can have over 1,000 slabs. Our selection yard features over 100 different types of stone these include granite, marble, limestone, soapstone, onyx, and travertine. We are authorized fabricators of Caesar Stone, Silestone, Cambria, Formica Stone, LG Viatera, Concetto, and Zodiaq. Recently, we have added a number of recycled products to our line. These include Paperstone, IceStone, ENVIROGLAS, Bio Glass, Eco-Terr Granite, Richlite, and Vertrazzo. Come and visit our facility you will be amazed at the selection.
